Roger Teague & Funeral Arrangements

posted 20 Feb 2012, 23:40 by Phil Owen   [ updated 27 Feb 2012, 02:54 ]

Very sad to say Roger Teague passed away on 20th February.

Roger had been a member of the Bayley club for over 30 years and had played for the 1st team in all that time, and was a formidable
opponent. Roger played 390 Premier league games winning 218 with a plus aggregate of +635

After retirement from working at Sankeys he took over the greenkeeping duties at the club which he did for 9 years until ill health forced him
to give the job up in 2010.

Roger will be sadly missed by all at the club and the bowling world,

Our thoughts are with Joyce his wife and family, R.I.P Roger (Teaguie)

The funeral will take place at 1-00pm Thursday 8th March at Telford Crematorium,
with the Wake at The Sir John Bayley Club afterwards.
